Whenever friends or family come visit me in Colorado, I make sure to set aside a morning to take them to Hidden Cafe. The place has a very intimate, family-friendly mom & pop vibe. The servers are super friendly and always make you feel welcome and taken care of. The food is nothing short of phenomenal. My favorite thing is to get their biscuits and gravy with green chile added. The chiles rellenos are excellent as well. If you prefer a savory breakfast, you generally can't go wrong with anything here that comes with green chile. It's delicious. My brother is more of a sweet breakfast guy, so he always gets blueberry pancakes, and he says they're fantastic. The only negative thing I have to say about the Hidden Cafe is actually a reflection of how great this place is: if you come on a Saturday or Sunday morning, you should expect to have to wait outside for a table to open up. It's a pretty small joint and it's becoming more and more popular by the week. We haven't had to wait longer than about 10 minutes and it's always worth it.

A family-owned gem like this Hidden Cafe is a rare find these days, with multi-generations working together to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We ordered a simple breakfast—eggs, potatoes, French toast, and coffee—and it was just right. Sometimes, the best things are simple and done well. Hidden Cafe is a nostalgic throwback to classic, local diners that are hard to come by. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely visit again. Moses recommends this cozy cafe for a heartwarming meal.

Really good breakfast served hot. Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the meal. I'm curious if they have an extra large OJ as I had a large. I'll try their coffee and bacon next time.
